In this project, kids built their own imaginative versions of the classic magnet fishing game, in which the player attempts to grab plastic fish out of the water with a magnetic fishing pole. They created a gear system to make their project rotate. They created their "game board" out of wood, and used clay and magnets to create their game pieces. Each student was encouraged to create a unique narrative scenario for their game. Students recued aliens from a UFO, lice from a big moustache, chocolates from a heart-shaped chocolate box, and cult members from a temple.
